THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Jacinta Ileko Khayumbi, of P.O. Box 1606–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in freehold ownership interests of all that piece of land, known as Subdvision No. 2529/II/MN containing 0.0180 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the Mombasa Municipality in the Mombasa District, registered as C.R. No. 19092 and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed and efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that at the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within the period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under section 33(3) of the Act.
