THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 47 of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that the Murang'a County Government intends to commence preparation of the above Plan on 24th September, 2025. The LPLUDP covers Kathangi Estate in Kenol Municipality which is approximately 110 ha. The purpose and objective of the plan are to provide a spatial framework that shall form the basis for; controlling development; setting development guidelines, norms and standards for land use planning; environmental protection, conservation and management within the estate. Comments on the proposed plan may be directed to the County Director in Charge of Physical and Land Use Planning, P.O. Box 52– 10200, Murang'a, not later than 15th October, 2025.
