APPOINTMENT

IT IS NOTIFIED for the information of the general public that pursuant to the provisions of Article 74 of the Constitution of Kenya, section 32D of the County Governments Act, Cap. 265, sections 11 (1) and 16 (1) (b) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019, and upon the approval of the appointment of the Deputy Governor by the County Assembly of Meru on 23rd May, 2025, the swearing-in ceremony of– LINDA GAKII KIOME as the Deputy Governor of Meru County, shall be held on Tuesday, 27th May, 2025, at the Governors Official Residence starting at 10.15 a.m. Dated the 23rd May, 2025.
