IT IS notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to Article 181 of the Constitution, section 33 of the County Governments Act (Cap. 265) and standing order 80 (1) (b) (ii) of the Senate Standing Orders, at a sitting of the Senate held on Thursday, 27th November, 2025, the Senate resolved to investigate the proposed removal from office, by impeachment, of Hon. Amos Kimwomi Nyaribo, the Governor of Nyamira County, in plenary. Consequently, pursuant to standing order 80 (8) and rule 3 of Part 1 of the Third Schedule to the Senate Standing Orders, I appoint Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 as the date for the commencement of the hearing. The hearing shall be held in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings, Nairobi and shall commence at 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 and run up to the conclusion of the hearing on Thursday, 4th December, 2025.
