THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Mureithi Mwangi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as parcel No. Gakawa/Githima Block 1/Burguret/3736, containing 1.399 hectares or thereabout, situate in Nyeri District, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Nanyuki in Succession Cause No. E119 of 2023, has issued letters of administration in favour of Nantary Wandia Mwangi, as the administrator and beneficiary, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said James Mureithi Mwangi (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, in favour of Nantary Wandia Mwangi, as the administrator and the beneficiary, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said James Mureithi Mwangi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
