THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mary Wambui Mirie (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Dagoretti/Uthiru/259, containing 2.08 hectares or thereabout, situate in the county of Kiambu, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kiambu in Succession Cause No. 226 of 1998, has issued grant of letters of administration in favour of (1) Catherine Njeri and (2) James Njenga Mirie, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Mary Wambui Mirie (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said (1) Catherine Njeri and (2) James Njenga Mirie, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mary Wambui Mirie (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
