THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Alice Gathoni Kariuki (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Karai/Muslim/T.32, containing 0.15 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the county of Kiambu, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Kiambu in Succession Cause No. 39 of 2015, has issued grant of letters of administration in favour of Eliud Koigi Kariuki, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Alice Gathoni Kariuki (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said Eliud Koigi Kariuki, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Alice Gathoni Kariuki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
