IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Article 74 of the Constitution of Kenya, section 32D of the County Governments Act, Cap. 265, section 11 (1) and 16 (1) (b) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019 and upon the approval of the appointment of the Deputy Governor by the County Assembly of Meru on 23rd May, 2025, it is notified for information of the general public that the swearing-in ceremony of— LINDAH GAKII KIOME as the Deputy Governor of Meru County, shall be held on Friday, the 30th May, 2025 at Mwendantu Grounds, Meru Municipality starting at 10.15 a.m. Dated the 28th May, 2025.
