COUNTY ASSEMBLY SESSION

PURSUANT to Standing Order 27(1), which states that “Whenever during a session the House stands adjourned, whether or not a day has been appointed for the next meeting, the Speaker may, on the request of the Leader of the Majority Party or the Leader of the Minority Party, appoint a day for a special sitting of the House”, I have appointed Saturday, 27th December, 2025 (Morning) as a day for a special sitting of the County Assembly. It is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly of Tana River and the general public that the Special Sitting of the County Assembly shall be held in the County Assembly Chambers, at 1000 Hours on the appointed day. The business to be transacted shall be the Consideration of the Report on the Removal from Office of the County Executive Committee Member responsible for Education, Youth, Sports, Gender and Social Services. The Order Paper for the said Special Sitting will be available in the Office of the Clerk of the County Assembly and will also be published on the County Assembly Website in due course.
