THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mugwanja Kuria (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 7.2 acres or thereabout, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Kabete/Nyathuna/127, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kiambu in Succession Cause No. 20 of 2011, has issued grant of letters of administration to Kimani Mugwanja, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Mugwanja Kuria (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said Kimani Mugwanja, and upon such registration the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Mugwanja Kuria (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
