THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Kariuki Chege (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.17 hectare or thereabouts, known as Loc. 11/Maragi/1978, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Murang’a in Succession Cause No. 41 “A” of 2012, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation leters to Japhet Kiragu Chege (ID/0271940), of P.O. Box 10749–00400, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of grant document upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said John Kariuki Chege (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
