NOTICE is given pursuant to the provisions of section 77 of the County Governments Act, No. 17 of 2012, section 79(1) of the Water Act, Regulation 11(1) of the Water (Services) Regulations, 2025 and Guidelines 3.4.1 and 3.4.5 of the Corporate Governance Standards for the Water Sector 2024 made by the Water Services Regulatory Board the Governor of Isiolo County, has appointed the following persons as members of the Selection Panel for the Recruitment of Seven (7) External Members of the Board of Directors of the Isiolo Water and Sewerage Company Limited; Isaack Kara Boru—(Chairperson) Members: Rebecca Mwonjiru Munya Bone Omar Godana; Nuria Mubarak; and Abdighfaar Ismail. Linus Thuranira Gichunge—(Secretary) The terms of reference of the Selection Panel will be to: 6th February, 2026 THE KENYA GAZETTE (a) formulate and undertake the advertisement of vacancies for seven (7) external members of the Board of Directors of the Isiolo Water and Sewerage Company Limited; (b) undertake the long listing and short listing of the applications received under paragraph (b) above; (c) prepare and publish the interview schedule of the candidates shortlisted for the stated vacancies; and (d) conduct the interviews of the shortlisted applicants and thereafter forward the names of the successful applicants to the County Governor for appointment. In the performance of its task, the Selection Panel; (a) shall regulate its own procedure; (b) shall be facilitated by the Office of the County Secretary and the County Department of Finance as may be appropriate for the effective discharge of its mandate; and (c) shall submit a final report to the Governor at the end of its term.
