PURSUANT to section 27 of the Weights and Measures Act, the CECM for Finance and Economic Planning, gazettes the following centers as stamping stations and their respective dates for the verification, stamping and re-stamping exercise. Further for purposes of section 27 (3), the persons having a weight, measure, weighing or measuring equipment for use for trade by reason of it being permanently fixed or of its heavy weight or delicate construction cannot be conveniently moved or by any other reasons provided in subsection (3), are instructed to notify in writing of its position to the inspector or some other authorized officer by the inspector to be receivedat least three (3) days in advance of the date the verification falls due.
