CHANGE OF NAME
NOTICE is given that pursuant to section 27 (4) of the Labour
Relations Act, 2007, Rift Valley Railways Workers Union (K) has applied to the registrar of trade unions for approval of a proposed change of name from Rift Valley Railways Workers Union (K) to
Meter And Standard Gauge Railways Workers and Pensioners Union
(K).
TAKE NOTICE that any member of the Union, any other registered trade union, or any member of the public who has any objection to the proposed change is invited to lodge such objection in
594 594 writing with the Registrar of Trade Unions within Twenty-One (21) days from the date of publication of this Notice.
All objections should be addressed to:
Registrar of Trade Unions, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection
P.O. Box 40326–00100, Nairobi.
Failure to lodge any objection within the stipulated period shall be deemed as having no objection to the proposed change, and the
Registrar may proceed to consider and determine the application accordingly.
