THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mbugua Njuguna Gichohi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.22 hectare or thereaboutS, known as Gatamayu/Gachoire/T.22, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Githunguri in Succession Cause No. 17 of 2014, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Alex Ngigi Mbugua, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to Mbugua Njuguna Gichohi (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said Alex Ngigi Mbugua, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mbugua Njuguna Gichohi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
