NOTICE is given pursuant to section 36 (1) and (2) of the Land Act, 2012, that the County Government of Taita Taveta has determined that certain underutilized and unalienated County Public Land within Voi Sub-County, Taveta Sub-County, Mwatate Sub- County and Wundanyi Sub-County, is available for allocation through lease for specified development purposes under the Taita Taveta County Land Commercialization Initiative. The land subject to this notice comprises County Public Land which is not subject to existing lease or licences and is unalienated. The land is proposed to be leased for the following development purposes: Agricultural development; Industrial and agro-processing activities; Commercial and mixed-use development; Infrastructure supporting industrial and economic zones. Allocation of the land shall be undertaken through a competitive, transparent and lawful process. Further procedural details, including identification of specific parcels, eligibility criteria, submission requirements, timelines, evaluation criteria and any additional pre-bid requirements, shall be contained in the competitive bidding documentation issued by the County Government.
