THE CONSTITUTION

ACT
NOTICE is given, in accordance with Article 189 of the
Constitution of Kenya and section 26 of the Intergovernmental
Relations Act, that the National Government, through the Ministry of
Education and the County Government of Wajir, have on the 2nd
February, 2026, entered into an Intergovernmental Participatory
Agreement on implementation of some elements of education function. In particular, the Agreement establishes a framework for co- operation between the respective levels of governments in issuance of bursary and scholarship programmes designed to provide support to learners enrolled in primary, special education, secondary, universities and tertiary institutions.
Interested members of the public may inspect a copy of the said
Agreement at following offices during the normal working hours:

The County Secretary, County Government of Wajir, P.O. Box 9–7200, Wajir, Kenya.
