THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mutangu Njuguna (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.13 acre or thereabouts, known as Loc. 1/T.1152, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court at Kangema in Succession Cause No. HC/RM 23 of 1998, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Evans Irungu Waiba (ID/8583211), of P.O. Box 25, Murang’a in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mutangu Njuguna (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
