THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Movat Mwaniki Fundi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Mbeti/Gachoka/8873, situate in the district of Mbeere, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court in Succession Cause No. E84 of 2024, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Anna Njoki Nyaga (ID/27136557) and (2) Purity Murugi Mwaniki (ID/41578059), and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19, and whereas the title deed in respect of Movat Mwaniki Fundi (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the names of (1) Anna Njoki Nyaga (ID/27136557) and (2) Purity Murugi Mwaniki (ID/41578059), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Movat Mwaniki Fundi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
