GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 3386

NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Mandera that pursuant to Standing Order No. 29 (1) of the County Assembly of Mandera Standing Orders, on the request of the Majority Party Leader and with the support of the requisite number of Members, I have appointed Thursday, 12th March, 2026, as a day for a special sitting of the County Assembly. The Special Sitting shall be held in the County Assembly Chamber, New Building, commencing at 9.30 a.m. to the conclusion of the business of the day. The business to be transacted at the sitting shall be the consideration of: 1. The Report of Lands, Housing, Physical Planning and Urban Development Committee on Integrated Strategic Urban Development Plan (2015–2035) for Elwak Town. 2. The Report of Lands, Housing, Physical Planning and Urban Development Committee on Integrated Development Plan (IDeP) (2024–2028) for Mandera Municipality. 3. The Report of Lands, Housing, Physical Planning and Urban Development Committee on Integrated Development Plan (IDeP) (2022–2026) for Elwak Municipality. 4. The Mandera County Rating Bill, 2026. 5. The Mandera County Financing of Urban Areas Bill, 2026. 6. The Mandera County Cess Bill, 2026. 7. The Mandera County Tax Waivers Administration Bill, 2026. 8. The Mandera County Trade Licensing Bill, 2026. In accordance with Standing Order 29 (4) of the County Assembly Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sitting, following which the County Assembly shall stand adjourned until Tuesday, 24th March, 2026 at 9.00 a.m. in accordance with the County Assembly regular Calendar.
