THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Ali Samani and (2) Shamin Ekbal Samani, both of P.O. Box 87266, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors in interest of all that piece of land, known as L.R. No. 5153/I/MN, situate in Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa District, registered as C.R. 18303, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the register in respect of thereof is lost/destroyed, and whereas the owners have executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under the provision of section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
