THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS George Muriithi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 2.02 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Embu, known as Kagaari/Weru/771, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Runyenjes in Succession Cause No. E64 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration to Rosemary Kaari Nyaga, and whereas the said Rosemary Kaari Nyaga has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Rosemary Kaari Nyaga, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to George Muriithi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
