THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

(No. 13 of 2019)

REGISTRATION

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 47 of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that the County Governemnt of Lamu in collaboration with the National Government intends to commence the preparation of the above plan. The purpose of the plan is to provide a spatial framework for registration of the above area as a community land and to also ensure guided and co-ordinated developments in the planning area in order to benefit local communities by improving their livelihood and sustainable use of the natural resources therein. Comments on the proposed plans may be written and/or directed to the Office of the County Executive Committee Member in charge Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development at the Lamu Headquarters, Mokowe, Emails of the same should be addressed to dir.physicalplanning@lamu.go.ke within fourteen (14) days from the date of this publication.
