THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Fredrick Otwani Obayo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land known as Bukhayo/Bugengi/1292 and Bukhayo/Mundika/2547, situate in the county of Busia, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Busia in Succession Cause No. 150 of 2008, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Margaret Otwani and Three Others, and whereas the said land title deeds issued earlier to Fredrick Otwani Obayo (deceased) have been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds, and proceed with the registration of R.L. 39 and R.L. 42, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to Fredrick Otwani Obayo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
