THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kabage Gathungu (deceased), is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership interest of all that piece of land containing 0.22 hectare or thereabouts, known as Loc. 7/Ichagaki/1390, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 2271 of 2000, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Simon Gathungu Kabage (ID/8539874) and (2) Nicholas Muya Kabage (ID/21107211), and whereas all efforts to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of said grant, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kabage Gathungu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
