THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Akende Olueya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Suna East/Kakrao/203, situate in the county of Migori, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Migori in Succession Cause No. 76 of 2019, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Lucas Ochieng Akede, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to Akende Olueya (deceased) have been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the instrument L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Akende Olueya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
