THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Matekwa Mbwaya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the district of Kakamega, known as Isukha/Shirere/261, and whereas in Succession Cause No. 153 of 2018, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Patrick Kenyatta Matekwa, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the Peter Matekwa Mbwaya (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 19 and L.R.A. 7 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Matekwa Mbwaya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
