THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kimutai arap Ruto (Deceased) is the registered proprietor of all that piece of land Known as Kericho/Kaitet/385, situated in the District of Bomet, and whereas the Magistrate's Court at Kericho in Succession Cause No. 96 of 2020, has issued grant in favours of (1) Augustine Kipkemoi Mutai and (2) Charles Kipkoskei Mutai, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered proprietor by transmission of LRA 39 in respect to the said land registered in the name of Kimutai arap Ruto (deceased) and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that day, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of LRA 39 in the name of (1) Augustine Kipkemoi Mutai and (2) Charles Kipkoskei Mutai, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kimutai arap Ruto (Deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled.
