THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Thomas Okila Lisamba (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.20 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the sub-county of Luanda, known as West Bunyore/Ebusakami/996, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in Succession Cause No. E329 of 2024, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Jane Okila Lisamba, and whereas the said Jane Okila Lisamba has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Jane Okila Lisamba, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Thomas Okila Lisamba (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
