GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 4977

WHEREAS Investment Counselling Bureau Limited, of P.O. Box 918–00606, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is the registered proprietor of all that parcel of land containing 286.4 hectares or thereabout, known as L.R. No. 3308/4, situate in the south of Rumuruti Town in Laikipia County, by virtue of a certificate of title, registered as I.R. No. 34314/1 and wheareas the property was fraudulently transferred severally eventually being illegally surrendered for conversion to Mutara/Mutara Block 3/2, purportedly in favor of one Salah Maalim Alio and a certificate of title was allegedly issued to the said Salah Maalim Alio, and whereas the Office of the Chief Land Registrar under the provisions of sections 14 (a) and (b) and 79 (2) of the Land Registration Act and the provisions for Fair Administrative Action Act, Salah Maalim Alio is accorded an opportunity to be heard and/or to surrender the certificate of title within fourteen (14) days, after the office of the Chief Land Registrar established that the application for surrender and conversion of certificate of title L.R. No. 3308/4, IR No. 34314/1 presented for registration was not authentic, failure to which the purported certificate of title registered as Mutara/Mutara Block 3/2 in the name of Salah Maalim Alio will be revoked.
