GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 5008

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 49 (1) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that the preparation of the above plan was on the 13th day of March, 2026 completed. The plan relates to land situated within the aforesaid market centre and the immediate surroundings within Morijo Trading Centre. The Ten (10) year medium term development plan once completed will: 1 Facilitate survey of parcels and preparation of title deeds; 2 Provide through adequate provision of land, a spatial framework for upgrading infrastructural facilities and services; 3 Provide a framework for development control by suggesting appropriate land use densities , development and activity guidelines; 4 Identifying environmentally fragile areas and suggesting measures to ensure their protection; 5 Provide a framework to unlock to the real socio-economic potential of the urban centre by suggesting measures to deal with underlying problems and for the exploitation of existing opportunities. Copies of the draft development plan as prepared has been deposited for public inspection, free of charge at the office of the CECM, Lands, Housing, Physical Planning and Urban Development (Municipality Office, Narok Town) and Ward Administrator, Loita Ward (Office at Entasekera Market Centre) between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday and the County Government website (www.narok.go.ke). Any interested person who wishes to make any representation in connection with or objection to the above development plan may within sixty (60) days send the same to County Executive Committee Member, Lands, Housing, Physical Planning and Urban Development, P.O.
