THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Herman Kidiga Manyulu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.04 hectare or thereabouts, situate in Hamisi Sub-county, known as Tiriki/Tigoi/1208, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in Succesion Cause No. E365 of 2025, has issued letters of administration in favour of (1) Evans Manyuru and (2) Millycent Kavoki, and whereas the said (1) Evans Manyuru and (2) Millycent Kavoki has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of (1) Evans Manyuru and (2) Millycent Kavoki, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Herman Kidiga Manyulu (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
