THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Otieno Nyangweso (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in Migori County, known as Suna East/Wasweta I/3489, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Migori in Succession Cause No. 156 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Jenifa Oyugi Ligawa, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said James Otieno Nyangweso (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said James Otieno Nyangweso (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
