THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

NOTICE is given pursuant to the provisions of section 13 (g) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, that the Director- General of Physical and Land Use Planning intends to prepare the above plan with effect from the 1st April, 2026. The purpose of the Plan is: To prepare Area Action Plan to guide the implementation of the Nairobi Railway City Strategic National Project Plan (NRCSNPP). The objective of the Plan is to provide–– (a) A framework for sustainable land utilization (b) A framework for implementation of the NRCSNPP (c) A spatial framework to guide infrastructural development (d) A basis for mainstreaming environmental protection, sustainability, climate resilience and conservation. Comments on the proposed Plan may be directed not later than Thursday, 16th April, 2026 to: National Director of Physical Planning, Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, Ardhi House, 1st Ngong Avenue, off Ngong Road, P.O.
