THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Hesbon Khamas Likhaya alias Hesborn Khamsi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the county of Kakamega, known as Isukha/Mukulusu/13, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kakamega in Succession Cause No. E456 of 2021, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Enock Muhanga Khamasi and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Hesbon Khamas Likhaya alias Hesborn Khamsi (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and upon such registration the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Hesbon Khamas Likhaya alias Hesborn Khamsi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
