THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(Cap. 300)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Gikonyo Thuo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that parcel of land containing 0.09 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Ndeiya/Nderu/T.40, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Limuru, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Mary Njoki Gikonyo and (2) Samuel Thuo Gikonyo and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Gikonyo Thuo (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of R. L. 19 and R.L. 7 and issue a land title deed to the said (1) Mary Njoki Gikonyo and (2) Samuel Thuo Gikonyo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Gikonyo Thuo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
