THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kimani Turiiya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that parcel of land containing 0.202 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Githunguri/Kimathi/1383, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Githunguri in succession cause No. 56 of 2015, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Sabina Njeri Thuo and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Kimani Turiiya (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue a land title deed to the said Sabina Njeri Thuo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kimani Turiiya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
