THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Hallon Okwaro (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.2 acres or thereabout, known as West Bunyore/Esiandumba/337, situate in the Sub-county of Luanda, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Kisumu in Succession Cause No. 11 of 2005, has issued letters of administration in favour of (1) Joyce Okwaro and (2) Rosemary Keziah Okwaro, and whereas the said (1) Joyce Okwaro and (2) Rosemary Keziah Okwaro have executed an application to be registered as proprietors by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as proprietors by transmission in favour of (1) Joyce Okwaro and (2) Rosemary Keziah Okwaro, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Hallon Okwaro (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
