THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Lawrence Macharia, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 6.3 hectares or thereabout, situate in the Taita/Taveta County, registered under No. Taita Taveta/Lake Jipe Scheme/693, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Taveta in Case No. MCELC/E003 of 2024 vide a degree dated the 10th December, 2025that the registration of Lawrence Macharia as the proprietor of the suit parcel was fraudulently obtained and therefore illegal, null and void, and directed the land registrar to cancel the name of Lawrence Macharia from the register and register Peter Okello Arwa as the proprietor thereof, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I shall proceed to rectify the register by registering Peter Okello Arwa as the lawful owner of the said land, and the title deed issued earlier to the said Lawrence Macharia, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
