THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(Cap. 300)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kamau Waweru (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land situate in the district of Nakuru, known as Elburgon/Elburgon Block 4/159 (Mukinyai), and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Limuru in Succesion Cause No. 119 of 2017, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Joseph Gitonga Mwaura and (2) George Ndegwa Mwaura, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of L.R.A. 50, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to Kamau Waweru (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said Land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 50 in the name of (1) Joseph Gitonga Mwaura and (2) George Ndegwa Mwaura, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kamau Waweru (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
