THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Esha Omar Atik, of P.O. Box 1240–80200, Malindi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered proprietor of all that piece of land, known as L.R. No. 286 N of Witu Township, containing 283 acres or thereabout, situate in the North of Mombasa Municipality in Kilifi District, registered as C.R. 7407, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas the owner has executed indemnified the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under section 33 (5).
