THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(Cap. 300)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS William Kimeli Cheruiyot (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the county of Uasin Gishu, known as Moi’s Bridge/Moi’s Bridge Block 12(Excullen)/22, and whereas in the Court has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Mary Jemutai Cheruiyot, of P.O. Box 1405, Moi’s Bridge in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and issue land title deed in the name of Mary Jemutai Cheruiyot, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said William Kimeli Cheruiyot (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
