THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(Cap. 300)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Karanja Mwangi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Juja/Kiaura Block 7/1074 (Mangu), situate in Kiambu County, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Gatundu in Succession Cause No. 333 of 2019, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Teresia Wairimu Karanja, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the land title deed of the said piece of land is missing, and whereas all efforts made to locate the said land title deed have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Karanja Mwangi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
