THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kicira Nguru (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.20 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kirinyaga, known as Mwerua/Kabiriri/5749, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Kerugoya in Succession Cause No. 336 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Faith Wanjiku Gicira and (2) Benard Karani Gicira, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said administration letters to (1) Faith Wanjiku Gicira and (2) Benard Karani Gicira, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kicira Nguru (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
