THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kariuki Gakumo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.043 hectare or thereabouts, known as Loc. 4/Gatitu/10, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Kandara in Succession Cause No. 217 of 2018, has issued grant and confirmation letters to Mariam Wanjiru Nganga, and whereas all efforts to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the Land Registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of R.L. 19 and R.L. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kariuki Gakumo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
