THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Karanja Kamau (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 2.43 hectares or thereabout, known as Location 11/Muchungucha/399, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Murang’a in Succession Cause No. 249 of 1995, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Francis Gathingo Karanja (ID/1894659), of P.O. Box 7-10200, Murang’a in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the Land Registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of said grant, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Karanja Kamau (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
