THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Shem Karanja (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, containing 2.20 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Naivasha, known as Longonot/Kijabe Block 3/49, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kiambu in Succession Cause No. E124 of 2018, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Jane Nyambura Mwangi and (2) Rosemary Wambui Mwangi, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Shem Karanja (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue a land title deed to (1) Jane Nyambura Mwangi and (2) Rosemary Wambui Mwangi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Shem Karanja (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
