THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Arthur Kihumbu Thairu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.1147 hectare or thereabouts, situate in district of Kiambu, known as Kabete/Kibichiku/3472, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kikuyu in Succession Cause No. E399 of 2021, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Margaret Nyakio Thairu, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Arthur Kihumbu Thairu (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said Margaret Nyakio Thairu and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Arthur Kihumbu Thairu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
