THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Murigitho Gitagia (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.619 hectares or thereabout, known as Kakuzi/Kirimiri Block 9/1770, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Murang’a in Succession Cause No. 463 of 2023, has issued grant and confirmation letters to (1) Susan Njoki Murigitho (ID/30112140) and (2) John Maina Murigitho (ID/7167154), both of P.O. Box 228-10200, Murang’a in Kenya, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for Cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue a land title deed to the said (1) Susan Njoki Murigitho and (2) John Maina Murigitho, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Murigitho Gitagia (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
