THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS George Gitiba Gathura (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.87 hectare or thereabouts, situate in district of Kiambu, known as 2730 2730 Githunguri/Gathangari/1969, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nakuru in Succession Cause No. 911 of 2007, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Dorcas Wangui Gitiba, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said George Gitiba Gathura (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said Dorcas Wangui Gitiba and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said George Gitiba Gathura (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
